William J. Lynch III Obituary (1958 - 2010)

William J. Lynch III, 51, of Pana, died Monday, November 15, 2010 in Heritage Manor, Pana. He was born November 27, 1958, the son of William J. Lynch, Jr. and Gloria Miller Lynch. William was diagnosed with an inoperable tumor of the brain stem when he was 2 years old. He lived in Pana most of his life, living in Mattoon for a short while. He was employed at Barry Care Center as a CNA. William loved music, especially hymns, and was a very talented vocalist. He sang at many weddings, churches and local events. William is survived by his mother: Gloria Lynch, Pana; brother:Don Lynch wife Suzy, Pana; sister: Lynn Perkins husband Neil, Tower Hill; nieces nephews: Ben Lynch wife Dawn, Lyndsey Harbaugh husband Ryan, William Perkins wife Tina, Elizabeth "Libby" Perkins; and great nephews: Carter Benjamin Lynch Colt William Perkins. He was preceded in death by his father on September 4, 2006. Funeral Information Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
