Viola "Dola" Berroyer Obituary (1920 - 2013)

Viola "Dola" Berroyer, 92, of Pana passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Heritage Health-Pana. Viola was born on July 20, 1920 to Frank Edith (Fox) Dechaney. She married Paul "Bud" Berroyer in 1941. Dola lived in Pana all her life. She and Bud raised 3 children. She was a homemaker and an avid golfer. She and Bud enjoyed many years of golfing with friends at the country club. She was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Pana and took great pride in being one of four generations of her family that attended Sacred Heart School. Dola is survived by her 3 children: Judy Holthaus, Pana, IL; Jean Crosby husband Jim, Pana, IL; Jim Berroyer wife Carla, Hot Springs, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Creamer, Decatur, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband and 9 brothers sisters. Funeral Information A memorial mass will be Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Pana with Rev. Rodney A. Schwartz officiating. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana.
