VeEtta Allen Obituary (1938 - 2017)

VeEtta Allen, 79, of Pana, died Monday, April 10, 2017. She was born March 21, 1938 in Pana, daughter of Edward & Frances (Weekly) Weber. VeEtta lived her entire life in Pana, and was a member of the Pana Ladies of the Moose, Pana Eagles Club, Pana Lady Elks, Pana Senior Citizens, & Pana Christian Church. She had worked as a homemaker & waitress. She enjoyed playing bingo & cards, and loved her family & grandchildren. VeEtta Weber married Darrel Lee Allen on March 12, 1963 in Taylorville. She is survived by her children: Joe (Beth) Allen, Pana, IL; Randy (Kerstin) Allen, Newman, IL; Twylah (Dave) Cole, Pflugerville, TX; Brenda (Dave) McMann, Pana, IL; Kim (Chuck) Collins, Pana, IL; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Weber; mother, Frances Weber Calhoun; husband, Darrel Allen; grandson, Connor Collins; brothers: Oscar Weber, Eddie Weber, Delbert Weber; sisters: Vera Klee & Doris Millsap. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. with David Cole officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Pana. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
