Sarah E. "Bea" Younker Obituary (1920 - 2006)

Sarah E. "Bea" Younker, 85, of Pana, died March 5, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. in Heritage Manor-Pana. She was born on June 25, 1920 in Henton, IL, the daughter of Charles Cordelia Godwin King. Bea was a retired cook from Pana Unit School District, Cardinal fan, and liked to work jig-saw puzzles with Burl. She lived her entire life in this area, living in Assumption for 20 years prior to living in Pana over 38 years. She married Burl W.Younker on July 24,1937 in Clayton, MO, he survives in Pana,IL along with a son: Delbert Younker wife Patty, Winter Springs, FL; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and sisters:Fern Puyear, Bethany, IL and June Banning, Decatur, IL. Bea was preceded in death by 2 sons, Roy Walter Younker, daughter, Barbara Markham, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Funeral Information Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 9, 2006 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. In-Sook Hwang officiating. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pana.
