Sally Jane Tipsword Obituary (1946 - 2014)

Sally Jane Tipsword, 68, of Taylorville, died Monday, June 2, 2014 in her residence. She was born January 6, 1946 in Pana, IL, the daughter of Frank Cozetta M. Hanson Tipsword. Sally had lived in Pana Taylorville most of her life. She had worked at Mallory's in Pana and most recently for the Christian County Mental Health Workshops in Taylorville. She was also a member of the Eagle's Lodge, Taylorville. Sally is survived by her brothers: Ronald Tipwsord, Pana, IL; Dennis Tipsword, Pana, IL; and Frank Tipsword, Jr., Houston, TX; and sisters: Peggy Patricia Herron and Joyce Shaff husband James, Tower Hill, IL. She was preceded by her parents and daughter, Lisa Dawn Tipsword. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Rosemond Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
