Roy H. Younker Obituary (1941 - 2005)

Roy H. Younker, 64, of Pana, died Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 10:30 p.m. in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield. He was born August 9, 1941 in Boody, IL, the son of Burl W. Sarah E. "Bea" King Younker. He served in the U. S. Air Force and worked as a welder in construction. He came back to Pana 3 years ago from Decatur where he lived over 20 years. He was an avid Cardinal fan. Roy is survived by his parents: Burl W. Sarah "Bea" Younker, Pana, IL; children: Laura L. Younker, Decatur, IL; Roy Younker, Lake Havasu, AZ; and Randy Younker, Decatur, IL; 2 grandchildren: David Ashley Younker; brother: Delbert Younker, Winter Haven, FL; former wives: Brenda Kay Blaine Cox, Decatur, IL and Lana Kraus Mason, Latham, IL. He was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Younker sister, Barbara Markham. Funeral Information Funeral services will be Thursday, December 15, 2005 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. In-Sook Hwang officiating. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pana with graveside military rites by VFW/AmVets/American Legion Honor Guard, Pana. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
