Rosella "Rosie" Hahnenkamp Obituary (1922 - 2017)

Rosella Rosie Hahnenkamp, 94, of Oconee, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in Pana Community Hospital. She was born October 24, 1922 in Oconee, daughter of the late Frank & Mary (Berns) Epley. Rosie lived in the Pana & Oconee areas all of her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oconee, where she was active in the church, sang in the choir, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Ladies. She was also a 60 year member of the Oconee American Legion Auxiliary. She worked for Endris Pharmacy for many years. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, flowers, and especially the neighborhood children. Rosella Epley married Milton L. Hahnenkamp and he preceded her in death on May 31, 1980. She is survived by Marilyn Holthaus, who was like her sister, and she was a part of the Henry Holthaus family. Funeral Information Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oconee at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Rodney A. Schwartz officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Oconee.
