Rocky L. Davis Obituary (1960 - 2021)

Rocky L. Davis, 61, of Pana passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021. He was born May 17, 1960 in Taylorville, IL, son of Roscoe V. & Lillian (Closser) Davis. He married Patricia Allen on December 12, 1981 in Pana and she survives in Taylorville, IL. Rocky was a graduate of Commerce City High School. He worked as an arborist and Enjoyed writing, fishing and anything outdoors. Rocky was of the Pentecostal faith. He loved to raise hell and hanging out with his friends. His children would always say, "My dad can whoop your dad!" He is also survived by his children: Roxanne Bouchard (Kyle Day), Westcliffe, CO; Daniel V. Davis, Decatur, IL; Amanda (Jeremy) Clements, Pana, IL; Bo (Alexandria) Enzor, Pana, IL; Nancy (John) Tate, Taylorville, IL; Rachel Enzor, Taylorville, IL; Sierra Davis, San Antonio, TX and Cheyenne (Christian) Abreu, Michigan; many grandchildren & 1 great grandchild; father, Roscoe Davis, Pana, IL and siblings: Diana Hatslinger, Mattoon, IL; Linda (Dave) Patton, Mattoon, IL; Jack Cloe, Mattoon, IL; Daniel (Savannah) Davis, Pana, IL. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Davis and brothers: William Langley & Bruce Langley. Cremation rites will be accorded. The family will host a celebration of life service at a later date. Memorials in Rocky's honor may be made to the donor's choice and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
