Rhonda Sue Holman Leigh Obituary (1955 - 2018)

Rhonda Sue Holman Leigh, 62, of Pana, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in her daughter's home. She was born July 8, 1955 in Pana to the late Charles & Norma (Pope) Holman. Rhonda had lived in Pana her entire life. She had managed Shelbyville Family Dollar as well as several local bars. She was also one of the original Pana Wal-Mart employees. Rhonda was a member of Christ Tabernacle, Herrick and Celebrate Recovery. She enjoyed cross-stitching, crafts, woodworking, collecting cows, playing the flute, and genealogy, especially taking picture of stones at local cemeteries. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She married Dave Sullivan in 1977 and they later divorced. Rhonda is survived by her children: Tawnya (Hugh) Stout, Vandalia, IL; Amy Moore, Pana, IL; and Cole (Katelyn) Shoraga, Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Jessica Rhoades, Brandon Rhoades, Taylor Stout, Candyce Stout, Abby Stout, Brant Moore, Baylee Moore, Mylee Clements, Charlee Clements, Jayce Shoraga; great grandchildren: Zach Oker-Rhoades, Riley Rhoades, Benson Siebert, Kade Siebert; and brothers: Jim "Butch" (Rita) Elmore, Virden, IL & Denny (Phyllis) Elmore, Pana, IL . She was also preceded in death by her brother, Perry Holman. Memorials may be made to the family. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. with Bishop Thomas Suey officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Mound Cemetery, Pana. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
