Murel Dwain Kaiser Murel Dwain Kaiser, 90, of Godfrey formerly of Oconee, IL, died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at 2:55 a.m. in Blu-Fountain Manor, Godfrey, IL. He was born on July 14, 1915 in Oconee, IL, the son of John Josephine Lovegrove Kaiser. He married Margaret Mahala Mills on January 18, 1944 in St. Charles, Missouri. They made their home on a farm in rural Oconee, IL for more than 40 years where they raised their family. He was employed and retired from Illinois State Highway Department. He also worked at Huber Memorial Hospital in the maintenance department, Pana greenhouse and farmed. He is survived by his wife Margaret Kaiser, Godfrey, IL; children: Linda Hickey, Dover, TN, Patricia Ackman, Godfrey, IL, Kathy Buzzard husband Jim, Beecher City, IL, William "Bill" Kaiser wife Gail, Pana, IL; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and sister: Ruby Litz, Pana, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; 8 brothers: Paul Kaiser, James Kaiser, Melvin Kaiser, Earl Kaiser, John Milton Kaiser, Harvey Kaiser, Cloyd Kaiser, Delbert Kaiser; and 2 sisters: Veda Hinton and Hazel Rhodes. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be Monday, October 17, 2005 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Neil Kaiser officiating. Burial will be in Oconee Mound Cemetery, Oconee, IL. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
