Kathy Davis Obituary (1950 - 2017)

Kathy Davis, 67, of Herrick, died Thursday, November 2, 2017 in St. Marys Hospital, Decatur. She was born August 18, 1950 in Decatur, IL to the late Donald & Helen (Rexroad) Chapman. Kathy lived most of her life in Herrick and was a member of the Herrick Baptist Church. She had worked for Pettys, and loved music, cooking, and most of all loved her family. Kathy Chapman and Charles Raymond Davis were married on April 8, 1967 and he survives in Herrick, IL. She is also survived by children: Sherrie (Mark) Carlin, Chestnut, IL; Charlie Davis, Decatur, IL; Daniel Davis, Effingham, IL; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Terry (Nancy) Chapman, Decatur, IL; sister, Connie Smith, Herrick, IL and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Darrell Chapman and father-in-law, George Moutrey. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 in the Herrick Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jay Huddleston officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, Herrick. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the church.
