John B. "Chopper" Murray, 51, of Pana died Friday, May 25, 2007 at 9:38 p.m. in Pana Community Hospital. He was born August 8, 1955 in Mattoon, IL, and had lived in Pana most of his life. John owned and operated John's Auto Body in Pana. He started doing auto bodywork at the age of 16. He was a member of Boy Scouts of America. John married Debby L. Rhodes on December 12, 1987 in Pana. His wife, Debby L. Murray, survives in Pana, IL along with his daughter: Jaimie Murray fianc Justin Stines, Moweaqua, IL, mother: Betty Coleman, Pana, IL, brother: Tom Coleman, Pana, IL; sister: Cheryl Tolen, Tower Hill, IL; niece: Danielle; nephews: Eric, Lance, Colby, Caleb; and great nephew: Kade. Funeral Information Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Suey officiating. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery, Herrick, IL. Visitation wil be one hour prior to the services.
