Janet L. Hattaway Obituary (1954 - 2013)

Janet L. Hattaway, 58, of Pana died Thursday, August 15, 2013 in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield. She was born December 4, 1954 in Pana, IL, the daughter of Leon Aaron Marcella B. Rhodes Brown, deceased. A graduate of Pana High School Class of 1973, she lived most of her life in Pana. She worked for MAI, Taylorville and was a member of Pana Eagles. She enjoyed her grandchildren, loved to travel and read, enjoyed people and loved to visit. Janet Brown and Max Hattaway were united in marriage on May 8, 1976 in Pana Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her husband Max Hattaway, Pana; son Chad Aaron Hattaway and friend Whitney Hill, Pana; daughter Summer Renae LaBrie, Pana; 3 grandchildren: Hannah, Maddison, and Jacob LaBrie; brothers: Vernon E. Brown wife Susan, Tower Hill and Mark E. Brown wife Judy, Pana; and by her sisters: Rosie J. Dean husband Bill, Oconee and C. Sue Sartore, Marion. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Melvin Lee Brown, and brother-in-law Lonnie Sartore. Funeral Information Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Ronald Brown officiating. Burial will be in Price Cemetery, Oconee. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home. Eagles rites will be Monday at 8 p.m.
