Ila L. Greenwood, 85, of Pana, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Heritage Health - Pana. She was born December 5, 1927 in Carlinville, IL, the daughter of Dale Manual Vera Elvia Schwindemann Pembroke. Ila lived most of her life in Decatur, then moving to Witt, and in 2008 moving to Pana. She was a homemaker. Ila married Laverne Dale Diercks and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter: EuVera "Trudy" Bons, Decatur, IL; 1 granddaughter; 1 grandson; brother: David C. Pembroke, Witt, IL; and sister:Norma J. Reatherford, Pana, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Russell Wayne Diercks; brothers sisters: Melvin Leon Pembroke, Clyde LeRoy Pembroke, Merle C. Pembroke, Johnny D. Pembroke, Donald Alan Pembroke, Darrell Wayne Pembroke, Wanda Lea Dull, Janice Kay Hogg. Funeral Information Graveside services will be held Monday, July 1, 2013 in Graceland Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur at 10:00 a.m.
