Harry M. Dean Obituary (1923 - 2018)

Harry M. Dean, 94, of Pana, died Friday, January 26, 2018 in Heritage Health--Pana. He was born November 21, 1923 in Pana to the late Richard & Julia (Wickersham) Dean. Harry was a graduate of Pana Township High School. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a meat cutter at several area grocery stores, including Rudow's, Johnston's IGA, & Save-a-Lot. Harry Dean and Helen Warren were married on March 8, 1980 and she preceded him in death on February 27, 2009. He is survived by his children: David M. (Robi) Dean, St. Joseph, MO; Curtis (Janet) Dean, Wichita, KS; Nancy Wagner, Indianapolis, IN; and Charlie (Donna) Wagner, Pana, IL; 5 grandchildren: Traci (Chadd) Kobielush, Carmel, IN; Troy (Melody) Wagner, Taylorville, IL; Brian Dean; Brent Dean & Rachael Hohf; 5 great grandchildren; and sister: Martha (Robert) Strodtman. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Smith and brother, Kenneth Dean. Cremation rites will be accorded with inurnment in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
