Harry L. Presnell Obituary (1937 - 2009)

Harry L. Presnell, 71, of Tower Hill, died Monday, February 9, 2009 in his home. He was born to Chester and Mary Presnell on May 26, 1937 in Pana, and lived most of his life in Tower Hill. He served in the Merchant Marines, and was a truck driver for ADM. Harry loved fishing and woodworking, and he was a member of the Tower Hill Free Methodist Church and Pana Elks Lodge #1261. He married Pat Elmore on November 7, 1987 at Pana Lake. Harry is survived by his wife: Pat Presnell, Tower Hill, IL; daughter: Debra Anklam husband Arlon, Oconee, IL; step daughter: Dede Pollard husband Mike, Pana, IL; step son: Dennis Elmore wife Heather, Avon, IN; grandchildren: Stephanie Burrell fiance Bart Dilley, Pana, IL; Chelsea Pollard Bryce Claxon, Pana, IL; Isabella Brody Elmore, Avon, IN; Christina Julius husband Matt, Pana, IL; Crystal Pollard, Taylorville, IL; great grandchildren: Meghan Olivia Burrell, Pana, IL; Jaidyn Olivia Julius, Pana, IL; Alexis Burrus, Taylorville, IL; brothers: Delbert Presnell wife Vivian, Wayne Presnell wife Helen, Jack Presnell wife Carol, all of Pana, IL; sisters: Bernice Benn husband Omer, Bloomington, IL; JoAnne Matlock Marcella Culberson, both of Yorkville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents sister, Janice Presnell. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2009 in the Tower Hill Free Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Newman officiating. Burial will be in Tower Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home, Pana.
