Harold "Big Tom" Stephens Obituary (1950 - 2014)

Harold "Big Tom" Stephens, 64, of Pana, died Sunday, July 27, 2014 in his residence. He was born June 4, 1950 in Pana, the son of Gene Frances Evelyn Acre Stephens. He had lived in Tampa, FL for a time while he worked as a Merchant Marine. He later came back to Pana. He married Judy Reed in 1968 and they were later divorced. Harold is survived by his children: Becky Batman husband Darrin, Sullivan, IL and Tim Allen wife Vicki, Sullivan, IL; 4 grandchildren: Ryan, Mallory Will Batman and Jillian Allen; sister: Donna West, Pana, IL; half sisters: Joyce Thompson husband Arville, Tower Hill, IL and Dianne Largent husband Ray, Pana, IL; and a special travel buddy. He was preceded by his parents; brother, Kenneth Stephens; half sister, Edna Karnes, and half brothers, Fred Hostetler Richard Hostetler. Funeral Information There will be no visitation. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 in Fraley Cemetery, Taylorville at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Ronald Brown officiating.
