G. Leo Willoughby Obituary (1924 - 2009)

G. Leo Willoughby, 84, of Decatur, died Monday, February 2, 2009 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. He was born June 12, 1924 in Centralia, IL, the son of John and Dora Modglin Willoughby. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and had lived in Clinton, Decatur, Pana Lake area. Leo was a retired guard at ADM, Staley's, Decatur Memorial Hospital. He married Laveta A. Jacobus in 1952 in Mississippi, and she preceded him in death on March 31, 2000. Leo is survived by his step son: Duane Miller, Clinton, IL; 1 step grandchild; sister: Maxine Niles, Decatur, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; step daughter: Imogene Bunner; 1 step grandchild; sister: Ethel Nelson; brothers: Glen, Orville, Verlin Willoughby. Funeral Information Graveside services will be Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in Linwood Cemetery, Pana with Rev. Lawrence Gibson officiating. There will be no visitation.
