Frederick "Fritz" Dahler Obituary (1918 - 2014)

Frederick "Fritz" Dahler, 96, of Pana, died Sunday, December 28, 2014 in Prairie Rose Health Care Center, Pana. He was born October 28, 1918 to Frederick C. "Fritz" Nettie A. Watson Dahler, deceased. Fritz was a lifelong resident of Pana. He was a farmer, auctioneer, and a tractor machinery builder. He was a member of the Holiday Rambler RV Club, and enjoyed square dancing. Fritz married Eloise Swiney to whom he was married for 74 years and lived in their home south of Pana for all of those 74 years. He is survived by his wife: Eloise Dahler, Pana, IL; son: Gary Dahler wife Janet, Leesburg, FL; grandson: John wife Andrea; granddaughter: Jenny fianc Josh; John's daughter, Kalie Andrea's son, Christopher. Funeral Information Funeral services will be Saturday, January 3, 2015 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
