Fred H. Kime Jr. Obituary (1933 - 2011)

Fred H. Kime, Jr., 78, of Pana, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011 in Heritage Manor-Pana. He was born April 14, 1933 in Hillsboro, IL, the son of Fred Henry Kime, Sr. Mary (Chappelear) Kime. Fred was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years, and then traveled extensively before coming back to Pana in 1961. Fred was a mechanic for Kuhn's Equipment in Taylorville. He liked to travel and see the country. He was also a Nascar basketball fan, and a past member of the Pana Sportsman's Club. Fred H. Kime. Jr. and Barbara E. Kiedrowski were united in marriage on October 4, 1952 in Brewster, WA. She preceded him in death on August 20, 2009. He is survived by his children:Kenneth Kime wife Pati, Tower Hill, IL and Mariellen Wood husband Mike, Sauk Centre, MN; 3 grandchildren: Traci Cutler husband Lyle, Pana, IL; Nick Kime wife Ashley, Pana, IL; and Jon Kime wife Jennifer, Faribault, MN; 6 great grandchildren: Hannah Cutler, Noah Cutler, Tyson Kime, Elly Sue Kime, Mykel Kime, Sonja Kime. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Sam Kime in 2000. Funeral Information A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Tower Hill Christian Church at 3:00 p.m. with Lyle Cutler officiating. Friends may call on Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the church.
