Franklin R. Dean Obituary (1934 - 2015)

Franklin R. Dean, 80, of Pana, died Thursday, January 15, 2015 in his residence. He was born December 19, 1934 in Pana, the son of James Riley Hazel Belle Lindhorst Dean. Franklin was a lifelong resident of Pana. He had worked at Mueller's in Decatur many years ago. He was a homemaker as he raised his 5 children. He also attended the Pentecostal church. Frank loved his family and enjoyed reading his Bible. He is survived by his children: James Franklin Dean, Ramsey, IL; Hazel Belle Dean, Morrisonville, IL; and Mary Elaine Dean, Pana, IL; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and sister: Betty Edwards, Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tamara Jo Dudle; son, William Joseph Dean; brothers: Fred E. Dean Paul Raymond Dean; sisters: Ann (Iowa) May, Mae Denton, Josephine Koonce. Funeral Information Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Twin Pines Cemetery, Pana at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Leon Goff officiating.
