Edith Lorraine Perry Obituary (1957 - 2017)

Edith Lorraine Perry, 59, of Pana, died Monday, March 6, 2017 in her residence, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She was born December 27, 1957 in Shelbyville, IL, daughter of the late Derald L. Ginger & Margaret (Barr-Ginger) Halbrook. Edith graduated from Pana High School in 1976 and spent most of her life in the Pana area. She enjoyed the years she spent in Beecher City and still has dear friends from that area. She was a graduate of Lake Land College and worked as an LPN in pediatric home health for 20 years. Edith loved her children & grandchildren, was a wonderful seamstress, loved to travel especially to beaches, and was a mother to so many that loved her. She also enjoyed spending time on the Illinois River mushroom hunting with her three sisters. Edith Ginger and Tommy Mark Perry were married in November 1976. She is survived by her children: Heath Perry & wife Angie, Pana, IL; Tommy Mark Perry II & wife Penny, Pana, IL; Hayley Campbell & husband Steven, Witt, IL; Nolan Perry & wife Stephanie, Tower Hill, IL; & Cheyenne Siuba & husband Scott, LaPlace, LA. Grandchildren: Ben Perry, Mallorie Perry, Dalton Perry, Quinton Perry, Kady Perry, Kinsey Perry, Adrianne Perry, Keatin Foor, Steven Campbell II, Decklin Taylor, Nolan Drake Perry, Jr., Lyndi Eden Perry (arriving in July), Scott Siuba, Jr. A brother, Carl William Ginger & wife Christine, Decatur, IL; and sisters: Sarah Anne Killebrew Jennings, Hillview, IL; Angela Sue Killebrew, Carrollton, IL; Jackie Lynn Pope-Ganser & husband John, Minonk, IL. Brother-In-Law, Larry Don Perry and Sister-In-Law, Penny Loy Brookshire. Nieces, Angela Brame, Casey Baldwin, Sara McKenzie; Angela Darlene Gravatt, & Jennifer Hope Standley. Nephews, Weston Stephens, Carl Ginger, Jr., Tony Ginger, Danny Perry, & Samuel Duane Perry. She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Don Perry; grandson, Koalton Leigh Perry; brothers: Derald M. Ginger & Larry Dean Perry; & brother-in-law, David Jennings. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Derrick Ritchie officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Casket Bearers: Weston Stephens, Tony Ginger, Kelly Wycoff, Frank Hermansen, Matt Tassone, John Ganser. Cremation rights will be accorded.
