Earl W. Davis Obituary (1934 - 2007)

Earl W. Davis, 72, of Pana died Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 9:03 a.m. in Pana Community Hospital. He was born August 23, 1934 in Pana, IL, the son of Tony Earl Ella May Wafford Davis. Earl had lived in Batavia for 28 years before returning to Pana in 1990. He was employed at Walkers in Batavia. He loved to read and work jig saw puzzles. Earl married Doris J. Anderson, and she preceded him in death in 2005. He is survived by his son: Earl W. Davis, Jr., Hodgkins, IL; brother: Ray Davis wife Cindy, Sparta, TN; sisters:Donna Manuel, Pana, IL and Shirley Sorem husband Gordon, Batavia, IL; and several nieces nephews. Earl was preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Sokja. Funeral Information Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2007 from 12 noon until time of service at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2007 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Marilyn Rauch officiating. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pana.
