Dorothy L. Oliver Obituary (1947 - 2016)

Dorothy L. Oliver, 68, of Pana, died Thursday, December 1, 2016 in Prairie Rose Health Care Center, Pana. She was born December 22, 1947 in Mattoon, daughter of the late Orval O. & Leah Faye (Jackson) Browning. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Lighthouse Apostolic Church, Taylorville. She loved horseback riding, watching TV, Reba McEntire, and watching Robert play in the band. Dorothy Browning married Edgar William Oliver and they were later divorced. He preceded her in death. She is survived by her children: Robert Oliver & fianc Rosemary, Fillmore, IL and Patty Wiley & husband Don, Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Kimberly Snow, Samantha Reed, Matthew Snow, Jonathan Snow, Abby Snow, & April Snow; and nieces & nephews: Tina Decker, James Browning, Jr., Michelle Neal, & Brian Anderson. She was also preceded in death by grandchildren: Cody & Corey Reed & brother, James A. Browning, Sr., on September 9, 2001. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded with private family inurnment at a later date.
