Corey S. Taylor Obituary (1970 - 2011)

Corey S. Taylor, 40, of Pana, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in Shelby Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 10, 1970 in Pana, the son of Gary Donna Sue (Handy) Taylor. Corey lived his entire life in Pana, attended Pana Schools, and owned operated Corey Taylor Trucking. He loved animals and used to raise Rottweilers. Corey also loved farming, the outdoors, four-wheeling, mudding, riding motorcycles, especially his Harley-Davidson. He was a member of the Midwest Truckers Teamsters Local #279, Decatur. Corey is survived by his parents: Gary Taylor Sue Taylor, Pana, IL; children: Dylan Taylor, Pana, IL Carson Taylor, Cowden, IL; sister: Shelly Fikan husband Chris, Rosamond, IL; brother: Chad Taylor, Pana, IL; nieces nephews: Wade Fikan, Alyvia Fikan, Luke Taylor; and several aunts, uncles, cousins. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jakob Barrientos officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Pana. Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
