Charlotte Jean Barr Obituary (1950 - 2021)

Charlotte Jean Barr, 70 of Pana passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in her home. She was born March 28, 1950 in Fairfield, IL, daughter of the late Frederick Dean & Joan A. (Sanders) Bowers. She had worked for Continental Bondware in Shelbyville and was a member of the Pana Christian Church. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles & watching movies. Charlotte is survived by her children: Kim (Eric) Horsthemke and Jason Barr, both of Pana; grandchildren: Jeric Horsthemke, Raven Horsthemke, Dakota Rudow & Mason Cravens; great grandson, Lincoln Horsthemke; and sister, Shirley Barr, Florida. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Don Bowers and Kenny Bowers. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Pana Christian Church with Pastor Dave Altman officiating. Memorials in Charlotte's honor may be made to the Pana Christian Church or Pana Senior Citizens Center and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
