Catherine "Kay" Trickett Obituary (1919 - 2016)

Catherine "Kay" Trickett, 96, of Pana, died Saturday, July 2, 2016 in Heritage Health-Pana. She was born October 29, 1919 in Nokomis to the late Earl Floyd Mabel Jane Mills Niehart. Catherine attended grade school in Decatur and graduated from Pana Township High School, Class of 1938. She had lived in New Orleans in her early adult life. She had worked as a head cashier and hostess at the Andrew Jackson Restaurant in New Orleans for several years. She loved New Orleans and always wanted to go back. She had lived in Pana for the last 50 years. Catherine is survived by several cousins. She was also preceded by her brother, Everett Earl Niehart. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held Friday, July 8, 2016 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steve Nance officiating. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pana. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
