Carla Sanders Obituary (1967 - 2011)

Carla Sanders, 43, of Tower Hill died Saturday, September 10, 2011 in Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born November 8, 1967 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Charles E. Rozella Cox Sanders. A graduate of Tower Hill High School, she lived all of her life in Tower Hill. Carla was a member of Knobs Baptist Church, Tower Hill, and a past member of Tower Hill Lioness Club. She liked to watch television and was an avid Cubs fan. She enjoyed people and talking to them. She never met a stranger. She also loved to go shopping. Carla is survived by her parents; Charles Rozella Sanders, Tower Hill, IL; sister: Tammy Shelton, Tower Hill, IL; and by 6 nephews 3 nieces. She had a lot of family including several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by a great nephew Clayven Rayne Meachum. Funeral Information Funeral services will be Thursday, September 15, 2011 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be in Knobs Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
