Betty L. (Handy) Fry Obituary (1933 - 2016)

Betty L. (Handy) Fry, 82, of Tower Hill, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in her home. She was born February 20, 1933 in Auburn, IL, daughter of the late Dennis Ruby (Hatcher) Handy. Betty lived most of her life in Tower Hill and was affiliated with the Tower Hill Free Methodist Church. She dedicated her life to lovingly helping others. She had been the owner operator of Loving Home Services. Betty L. Handy and Richard Lee Fry were united in marriage in Mesa, AZ. He preceded her in June 1982. Betty is survived by her son: Gene Fry, Tower Hill, IL; 1 granddaughter: Sabrina (Bryan) Bornder, Bloomington, IL; 1 great grandchild to come in March; brothers: Gene Handy, Pana, IL and Butch Handy (Carol Hartley), Springfield, IL; and sisters: Sue Taylor, Pana, IL and Shirley Mae Reynolds, Pana, IL. She was also preceded by her brother, Russell "Bud" Handy and sister, Barb Handy. Funeral Information Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Tower Hill Cemetery with Pastor Kurt Feneley officiating.
