Obituary for Mark Eugene Butts

Mark Eugene Butts, 22, of Ramsey passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 in Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia. He was born December 2, 1996 in Litchfield, IL, son of Tim E. & Karen Butts and Candy Roetto, who survive.
He was a graduate of DeWitt Academy. Mark was a hard worker. He loved racing dirt bikes and, in his words, “I am the legend”. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends. He was a good father and his children were his world.
Also surviving are children: Chandler Isac James Butts & Chloe Michelle Butts; mother of his children, Carli Bechtel; girlfriend, Destiny Langston; siblings: Shelbie Condray, Niagnua, MO; Sabrina Butts, Strafford, MO; Sara Moss (fiancée Phillip Trotter), Vandalia, IL; Josh Rhodes (significant other Morgan), Ramsey, IL; and siblings in Missouri, Damion Chastain, Autumn Feuquay, Stormy Roetto, Truman Roetto, all of Springfield, MO; best friends: Zachary Carrell, Chris Beck, Isac Gann, Westin, Smith, Dylan Schafer, Josh Crawford, Trintin Owens, Geddy Steppan, Blayke Williams and many more.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Harry Kirk officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
Cremation rites will follow.
